Fundraising

Fundraising is important to our club’s survival and to provide skaters with many opportunities and activities. There are many expenses to keep the club operating. Office supplies, insurance, website maintenance, storage unit fees, embroidery of club jackets, and cost of ice are ongoing expenses. In addition to this, updating equipment, software, banners/decorations, hospitality equipment, and educational seminars related to U.S. Figure Skating are often necessary.

Annual membership fees cover only the direct costs of U.S. Figure Skating membership, skating magazine, and our annual social. Our competitions and test sessions fees cover the costs of hospitality, travel, and accommodations of our officials, awards, programs & goodie bags for our skaters & any other necessary items related to these events.
